Značaj pobede tuniskih masa nije samo u uspešnom svrgavanju Bena Alija, čime su okončane 23 godine njegove diktature.

Tuniska revolucija pobija argumente koje su proteklih nekoliko decenija nudili mnogi desni intelektualci, prema kojima arapske mase nisu sposobne da postignu revolucionarne promene i da su revoluciji dani odbrojani.

Veliki bes narodnih masa koji je obuzeo čitav Tunis ponovo je dokazao da mase stvaraju sopstvenu istoriju i da je klasna borba živa širom arapskog sveta. Tuniska revolucija je takođe ozbiljno uzdrmala i lanac saveza kojim dominiraju SAD – ali kojim upravljaju i manje sile, poput Francuske i Britanije – čija je svrha da Bliski Istok i Severna Afrika drže pod kontrolom zapadnog imperijalizma, a da Izrael neometano može da tlači Palestince.

L'importance de la victoire des masses tunisiennes ne se limite pas au renversement de Ben Ali mettant fin à 23 années de dictature.

La révolution tunisienne réduit à néant les discours répandus par de nombreux intellectuels de droite ces dernières décennies clamant que les masses arabes seraient incapables de réussir une transformation révolutionnaire et que le temps des révolutions étaient fini.

La colère populaire qui s'est emparée de toute la Tunisie vient de réaffirmer que ce sont les masses qui font leur propre histoire et que la lutte de classe est vivante dans tout le monde arabe. La révolution tunisienne a aussi porté un coup à la chaîne d'alliances dominée par les Etats-unis - mais aussi orchestrée par des pouvoirs moindres comme la France et la Grande-Bretagne - qui vise à garder le Moyen-orient et l'Afrique du Nord sous la coupe de l'impérialisme ...

Znaczenie zwycięstwa mas tunezyjskich nie ogranicza się do skutecznego obalenia Ben Alego, kończącego 23 lata dyktatury.

Tunezyjska Rewolucja obala argumenty rozpowszechnione przez wielu prawicowych intelektualistów w ciągu ostatnich kilku dekad, że arabskie masy nie są w stanie osiągnąć rewolucyjnych zmian, i że czasy rewolucji już minęły.

Powszechny społeczny gniew, który przejął całą Tunezję potwierdził, że masy tworzą własną historię oraz że walka klasowa jest żywa w całym świecie arabskim.

Tunezyjska Rewolucja również wymierzyła cios w łańcuch sojuszy zdominowany przez Stany Zjednoczone, ale także zaaranżowany przez mniejsze mocarstwa, takie jak Francja i Brytania, który podtrzymuje stan poddaństwa Bliskiego Wschodu i Afryki Północnej wobec zachodniego imperializmu i pozwala Izraelowi bezkarnie uciskać Palestyńczyków.
